In this policy note, İnan İzci examines the concept of risk governance in the cities by setting a relation between disaster management and the responsibilities of municipalities. Based on the researches in Turkey and abroad, he provides some proposals about the concept of risk governance and the responsibilities of municipalities in order to strengthen the perspective of disaster management.
